Road Trip Books

Francie and I like to travel in our 2020 Winnebago Revel adventure van. It’s a nice compromise; with the lifted suspension, big tires and 4WD, we can get deep into the plentiful public lands, and Francie doesn’t have to sleep in the dirt and go days without a shower. She is a total badass traveler with minimal kit, so it works well. We like to drive instead of fly so we get to explore along the way. We’re both so busy, even in retirement, with our projects, that we both look forward to the ‘together time’ of a road trip. We both love the open road, and there’s nobody else we would rather be with.

One of the things we like to enjoy together is listening to ‘books on tape’. Now of course they’re online, or downloaded onto your cell phone. We use Audible, but there are ways to get audio books for free from libraries. We’re always on the hunt for titles, as we spend a LOT of road trip time. Here’s some ones we have really enjoyed.
